SMX is seeking a Full-Stack Web Application Developer to join our team. This position supports our Navy customer in the Port Hueneme, CA area, but may be filled remotely, and may require periodic travel to the customer site.

The Full Stack Developer will use their skills and experience with full-stack, front-end development using the Microsoft Suite of programming languages such as C#, ASP.net, JavaScript, etc., as well as SQL database expertise. The selected candidate should have strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with stakeholders at varying levels. The successful candidate will need to be able to work successfully within a remote team and within a constantly evolving environment, quickly adapting to new and changing requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As the liaison between the business and IT department, the Senior Business Analyst ensures that the scope of work requested to enhance or modify existing application processes are clearly documented, communicated, and validated. The Senior Business Analyst works closely with IT experts to design, develop, document, test and validate solutions that meet business requirements and may be asked to lead projects and mentor other Business Analysts.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Acts as a liaison with stakeholders to analyze the needs of various functional business areas while enhancing software and reinforcing business standards.

+ Creates detailed documentation of functional, system (non-functional), user and reporting requirements that may include but is not limited to: Use Cases, Logical Models, Process Flow Diagrams, Report Specifications and Data Mapping & Flow Diagrams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Experience using Structured Query Language (SQL) for data analysis.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$127,200.00 - $190,800.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
