The pay rate for this position is $45-$55 per hour

Job Responsibilities:
+ Recognizes safety hazards and follows safety guidelines for personal protection, protection of fellow workers and the protection of the public.
+ Reads and interprets instruction manuals, blueprints and control system drawings; applies knowledge to daily tasks under the supervision of the Lead Electrician.
+ Completes written and electronic records (i.e. work orders, calibration sheets, time cards, material requests) required to document the work in progress and as it is completed.
+ Repair, test, troubleshoot, inspect; and install, remove and maintain solar site equipment such as solar panels, inverters, transformers, breakers, switchgear, and SCADA equipment.
+ Supervise and train apprentice electricians/coworkers to teach proper, safe use of tools and maintenance procedures.
+ Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Current Arizona A-17 License
+ Current C-11 Commercial Electrician License
+ Minimum of 2 years experience of industrial solar electric/electronic maintenance experience in the repair, inspection, testing, installation and/or maintenance of related electrical/electronic equipment.
+ Valid Drivers' License in good standing, issued by state of residence.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Additional Qualifications:
+ Knowledge of electricity, voltage and current relationships for both AC and DC circuits.
+ Knowledge of Solar PV a plus.
+ Ability to successfully complete position training and testing requirements.
+ Ability to push, pull, bend, stand, stoop, lift, carry, reach, climb, hear, see, and work on ladders for extended periods of time with hands and arms at heights to install and troubleshoot equipment.
+ OSHA training and certification preferred.
+ Travel and flexibility for ‘on call’ support or varied schedule needs.

THE POSITION:
Canyon State Electric is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Electrician. This role is essential for ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems according to industry standards and local codes. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining our commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. The applicant should have a willingness to learn new technologies and systems related to electrical and fire alarm technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Install various types of electrical systems, including wiring, devices, and control panels, according to engineering specifications and compliance with local, state, and national codes.
+ Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs of electrical systems to ensure functionality and efficiency. Troubleshoot complex issues “lighting controls/ motor control systems” and make recommendations for system enhancements.
+ Conduct detailed testing and commissioning of new and existing electrical systems to ensure they meet all requirements and function correctly.
+ Accurately complete all necessary documentation including service reports, testing logs, and compliance forms. Maintain detailed records of all inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed.
+ Provide high-quality customer service, offering clear communication and feedback about the status and safety of their systems. Address customer concerns and ensure their satisfaction with the services provided.
+ Stay updated with the latest electrical codes and standards. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with NEC standards and other relevant regulations.
+ Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
+ Share knowledge and assist in training junior technicians.
+ Complete other assigned duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ A minimum of Journeyman / 5 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
+ Strong understanding of electrical system design, configuration, and operational requirements. Familiarity with various fire alarm panels and devices.
+ Ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring minimal downtime.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with use of Phone, Tablet, and computer. Applicant shall be capable of explaining complex systems in an understandable manner.
+ High level of attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
+ Ability to work in various environments and ascend ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
