**What You Will Do**
+ Set-up, deliver and install personal computers, telephones, networking, and peripheral equipment using established and defined procedures and processes.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on voice and data communication systems and associated hardware maintaining accurate documentation.
+ Actively participate in Safety and Environmental programs, ensure MIS policy compliance and site operational goals.
+ Perform voice, network, and PC and basic wireless troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose infrastructure problems.
+ Perform other duties as required.
**What You Bring To Freeport**
+ Two (2) years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
+ Demonstrated technical expertise in the installation, repair and maintenance of PC hardware, software, printers, fax machines and telephone handsets.
+ Ability to effectively analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose issues with computers, peripherals, cellular and voice systems.
+ Basic understanding of networking concepts, protocols and technology including wireless networking equipment
+ Basic knowledge of voice systems (PBX/VoIP)
+ Skill in effective communication, both verbal and written
+ Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and both scheduled and unscheduled overtime as business dictates.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities

+ Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot cabling infrastructure systems and perform repairs as necessary.
+ Perform upgrades and additions to cabling infrastructure systems in order to increase functionality and usability.
+ Coordinate with other Team Members within North American Commercial Services (NASI) Operations for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently.

- Build closets (Mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware). Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required. Complete all IDC connections (e.g. terminate 110/66 blocks and patch panels).
- Perform testing: continuity test horizontal and riser cable; use of volt-ohmmeter; troubleshoot opens, crosses, shorts and transpose pairs on horizontal and riser cable; use a tone set.
- Identify active voice or data circuits.

Basic Function
Responsible for the on-site physical installation, functional testing, and quality inspection of surgical light suspensions, surgical booms, video integration systems, and other ancillary equipment (room cameras, video monitors, video signals, etc.). Integration Specialists deploy cutting edge technology in various healthcare environments including ER, OR, ICU, Trauma, Cath Labs, hybrid ORs, and surgery centers. As an Integration Specialist you would be responsible for delivering a world-class customer experience by installing integrated audio–visual, mechanical and network systems of various configurations to deliver individualized solutions for caregivers. Our integration specialists partners with internal teams including sales, project engineering, project management, field service and external teams including electricians, plumbers, general contractors and perioperative hospital staff. Responsibilities
+ Confirms site readiness of pre-installation requirements and infrastructure and performs detailed product inventory of installable equipment. Communicates issues to internal project team and follows up for resolution.
+ Responsible for the installation of all surgical light suspension systems, surgical booms, video integration systems and associated cabling to deliver appropriate video signals as well as installation of ancillary equipment (room cameras, video monitors, etc.)in accordance with quality and safety standards as well as state, industry, and international standards
+ Programs, tests, and inspects all video integration sources according to design specifications and in accordance with quality and safety standards.
+ Able to troubleshoot and determine root cause of failures of installable equipment. Performs diagnoses and repairs of equipment according to established quality guidelines and procedures. Tests equipment to ensure proper operation and quality output.
+ Documents & Maintainsaccurate records of equipment installation and associated activities. Completes daily update reports and other administrative responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner. What part will you play?
The Senior Installation Technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of installation duties on technology projects for our clients. This position is the key field position for the bulk of the actual work that gets done in our clients’ buildings. The install tech needs to coordinate with project management, field superintendents and others to fully understand their role on specific projects. They interpret our drawing packages to create the basis of the finished systems. This installation can include displays, projectors, loudspeakers, microphones, equipment racks, etc. The Senior Tech will be responsible for our most complex system designs, will mentor other technicians and set the example in all aspects of the job.
NOTE: this position supports a major client program, requiring 100% national travel to various customer sites. As such, it’s not tied to a specific Diversified office; the candidate can be based in any of the US 48 states.
What will you be doing?
+ Possess all skills from Install Tech and Associate Fabrication Tech job descriptions
+ Leads and delegates tasks to install crews, subcontractors, and union trades. May be required to regularly lead a team on large projects
+ Verifies all work complies with Diversified’s and clients QC standards. Oversee field operations in situations without a dedicated on-site superintendent
+ Physical installation of a wide variety of technology into a wide variety of locations
+ Execute a variety of cabling terminations for wire and connector types including verifying crew terminations to our standards
+ Support the preparation of equipment racks for staging of equipment wire lacing including installation of power strips, grounding bars, jack-fields, etc.

Complexity:
This level of technician will be responsible for performing tasks on clients’ job sites with no supervision. This position is responsible for the coordination with clients, contractors and subcontractors. This position will be the key and only senior field supervisor in many situations and will be responsible for delegating work, monitoring others work and communicating with key stakeholders on behalf of the PM. This position requires the highest level of technical and people skills.
Decision Making Authority:
This position is often alone on the job sites and requires making good judgement about decisions that need to be made. In general, the project manager and a site supervisor are available to answer questions. This position is independent and will need to make onsite decisions on behalf of the PM. This position requires good diplomacy in working with our clients and other key stakeholders on the job sites.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that may be met by an employee. The employee may be exposed to construction site conditions on a regular basis. Employee will be responsible for their safety while on job sites and to comply with all safety regulations in place by the GC. Use of PPE is usually required on job sites. The employee can typically spend at least 50% of their time on their feet and be required to mobile around the construction site. The employee must have the ability to occasionally climb ladders, use stairs and lift and/or move materials up to 40 pounds in construction areas. The individual is regularly required to use keyboards, test equipment and controls required for SI installation projects. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth vision. When not on construction sites, the employee will experience normal office conditions and be required to use office equipment such as computers, peripherals, etc.
Travel:
This position involves 100% national travel in support of a major client program. Travel expenses will be covered per Diversified’ s Travel & Expense Policy. Employee must possess a valid driver’s license in their state of residence. Under certain circumstances, employee may be required to use their own vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage at the current corporate rate.

In Transformation Excellence:
+ Transformation Excellence practitioners will shape and steer technology enabled, large-scale transformations with our clients.
+ They will convey deep understanding of technology platforms and architecture at the intersection of our client’s industry to guide them towards a well-defined, value-rich target while effectively managing change.
+ Using deep industry and technology competence e.g., in Cloud, Data or Security, they will build rapport with senior and expert stakeholders in both business and technology functions to facilitate quick and effective decision-making.

As a Consultant :

+ Manage the planning and preparation for design thinking and/or customer journey workshops to support the development of a transformation roadmap and/or strategy.
+ Build understanding of program management fundamentals for predictive (waterfall) and adaptive (agile) delivery
+ Build expertise in Technology Strategy & Advisory capabilities.
+ Travel as needed, up to 80%.
Here’s What You Need:
+ Minimum 2 years of experience on a technology transformation program driving value management/realization, executive storytelling or managing measures of success.
+ Minimum 2 years of experience creating investment cases and focus on tech value.
+ Minimum 1 year of experience at a consulting firm
+ Minimum 1 year experience in planning / structuring analytical work, facilitating team workshops, and developing transformation recommendations.
+ Bachelor’s Degree
Bonus Points if:
+ E xperience with Cloud and Digital roadmap strategy & assessment skills
+ You have an MBA or equivalent graduate degree.
+ Public Cloud Certification(s) (AWS, MS Azure, GCP)
+ SAFe (Scale Agile Framework)
+ Experience in the implications of Cloud economics on IT financial management
