Description Do you have experience in accounting as a Full Charge Bookkeeper? Looking for new challenges that will propel your skills, as well as your career? Robert Half is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to prepare and process financial statements and accounts and manage all general accounting and bookkeeping essential functions. If you have excellent organizational skills, strong communication tactics, and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines, you might be a good fit for this position. The long-term contract / temporary to permanent Full Charge Bookkeeper will work in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Your responsibilities in this role

- Preparing depreciation schedules by tracking fixed assets

- Executing accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, such as collections

- Retaining historical records through the accurate filing of documents

- Handling reconciliations for bank and general ledgers, and processing payroll

- Ensuring correct and punctual monthly, quarterly and year end close

- Preparing the trial balance and financial statements, including balance sheet and statements regarding income and cash flows

- Maintaining knowledge of current federal, state, and local legal requirements, ensuring adherence to them, filing reports, and communicating with management on needed actions

- Managing accounting clerks and entry-level bookkeepers Requirements - Highly organized and self-motivated

- 3+ years of relevant experience in bookkeeping

- High school diploma or equivalent, AA degree or higher in Accounting or Business preferred

- Knowledgeable of accrual and cash basis of accounting

- Strong familiarity with Multiple Entities

- Knowledge of Quickbooks Online

- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel

- Previous experience with payroll preferred

- Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds

- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

- Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports

- Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

- Proficiency with Excel, Quickbooks, and Peachtree
