**Materials Management Tech II - Material Management**
**Northridge Hospital Medical Center**
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Materials Management Tech II to join our team. The Materials Management Tech II receives and distributes hospital equipment supplies and mail. Prepares equipment and supplies for shipping as needed. Performs daily counts of par-level locations via hand-held technology-approved supply storage system or materials management information system. Performs data entry of stock items issued from inventory. Maintains hospital inventory and materials management work areas in a clean and orderly manner. Participates in inventory/cycle counting process per department procedure.

**Responsibilities**
+ Receives facility supplies, equipment and mail, insuring all documentation is complete and any problems with the shipments are identified.
+ Documents supply and equipment receipts in the Materials Management Information System per policy and procedure prior to staging items for delivery.
+ Stocks facility inventory, conduct cycle counting, rotating inventory on a first in, first out basis.
+ Performs daily inventory counts of assigned par-level locations.
+ Stages supplies and equipment for delivery and delivers supplies and equipment per department policy and procedure.
+ Pulls items from inventory locations to fill requisitions, departmental picklists and verbal requests, as needed.
+ Removes supplies designated for patient care areas from cardboard casing.
+ Assists the supervisor by informing of needed supplies.
**Qualifications**
+ Three to six months of inventory management experience required.
+ An understanding of large ERP systems.
+ Fire Safety card required within 90 days of hire.
**This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.**
**Pay Range**
$23.00 - $26.94 /hour
