+ This job is a member of the Revenue Accounting Team within the Finance Division.
+ Responsible for reporting and analyzing data related to payment processing, operations and fees, as well as assisting in identifying process improvements
**What you'll do**
+ Analyze and verify ticketing and booking records to ensure accurate fare distribution, and adjust as necessary.
+ Reconcile ticket revenue, ensuring the correct split of revenue between airlines based on proration rules.
+ Ensure proper fare allocation between multiple airlines in interline or code-share agreements.
+ Ensure the accuracy of data related to proration agreements, flight segments, fare rules, and ticketing information.
+ Generate detailed reports on proration calculations, revenue splits, and performance, often for internal or external stakeholders, including airlines, financial teams, and regulatory bodies.
+ Keep proration rules, rate tables, and airline agreements up-to-date in internal systems (e.g., revenue accounting, reservation, and ticketing systems).
+ Work closely with finance teams to ensure that proration calculations are accurately reflected in the financial systems and reported correctly.
+ Collaborate with revenue management teams to ensure that proration practices are in line with overall revenue goals and pricing strategies.
+ Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and airline industry practices regarding fare distribution, proration, and interline agreements.
**All you'll need for success**
**Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or other relevant field or equivalent experience/training
+ 3 years related work experience in similar field/position
**Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
+ Master's or other Advanced degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
+ Use industry-specific software and systems such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Travelport, as well as revenue accounting systems, to perform proration tasks.
+ Experience with airline industry software and tools (e.g., GDS, accounting systems).
+ Understanding of airline industry regulations, proration rules, and fare structures.
**Skills, Licenses & Certifications**
+ Precision is critical when dealing with complex fare calculations and revenue distributions.
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
+ Willingness to take initiative and ownership
+ Ablility to logically structure analysis of complex issues and develop solutions to business problems and operational challenges
+ Ability to create process documentation
+ Ability to manage multiple relationships and projects, prioritizes opportunities, and take initiative towards achieving common goal
+ Outstanding organizational skills
+ Able to build relationships and interact productively with various departments and all levels of management
+ Work in a team environment as well as be successful independently
+ Ability to work with large datasets and identify patterns or issues.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
