Description

We are offering a full time contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Phoenix, Arizona. Operating within the financial industry, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and controlling the company's financial processes. This role will involve a significant amount of client interaction and will require a strong understanding of QuickBooks Online for payroll purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately preparing financial statements from scratch

• Efficiently processing and managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Conducting regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

• Maintaining and managing the General Ledger

• Recording and posting Journal Entries as required

• Managing the Month End Close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

• Utilizing QuickBooks for payroll and other financial activities

• Assisting in Tax Preparation as needed.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures

• Demonstrated ability in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger tasks

• Proven expertise in managing Journal Entries

• Capability to handle Month End Close activities

• Proficient in using QuickBooks software

• Experience in Tax Preparation activities
