Ensure employee safety while overseeing the flow of materials for facility. Ensure that all raw materials and packaging is safely and accurately received, sampled, and properly stored. Schedule appointments to pick up raw materials from local warehouses, and schedule inbound and outbound freight. Transfer raw materials and packaging where needed, according to schedule. Ship finished goods to customers safely, accurately, and on schedule by performing all shipping functions as directed. Receive finished goods from manufacturing. Ensure the proper storage and bin allocation for finished products and input accurate records into company systems. Review daily shipping requirements. Wrap, tag and prep pallets for shipping. Create bills of lading. Verify shipments against packing slips. Load trucks in accordance to Department of Transportation weight requirements. Process electronic records accurately.

· Follow all company policies and procedures.

· Follow and ensure compliance to quality system and cGMP programs.

· Attend safety meetings and ensure equipment and work area safety.

· Schedule shipping, receiving, transfers and daily tasks.

· Ensure proper inventory control, including lot segregation and allergen separation.

· Perform strategic planning, including logistics and transportation of product throughout the company.

· Manage personnel, including interviews, hiring, performance appraisals, corrective actions and terminations.

· Respond to customer calls and emails related to shipments, deliveries, product coordination, and quality, to provide company and customer satisfaction.

· Coordinate with freight and shipping companies.

· Coordinate with Purchasing regarding inbound raw materials deliveries, and with Sales and Customer Service Representatives for product placement and shipping schedule.

Qualifications:

· Supervises multiple direct reports.

· Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

· Two years of work experience.

· Requires knowledge of Current General Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP). Forklift Certificate. May require other equipment training certificates.

· Must have moderate math skills.

· Moderate reading skills required.

· Basic computer skills needed.

· Must have basic language skills. Fluency in multiple languages is desirable.

· Must have moderate writing skills.

· Must be willing to learn new tasks and procedures.

· Ability to efficiently and effectively perform all essential position duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to self or others.

· Maintain a regular and dependable work attendance record with few instances of unplanned and/or unexpected absence.
