Phoenix Children’s has an immediate opening for a Nurse Coordinator in our Allergy Clinic. This position will be at our Thomas Campus, and the incumbent will be responsible for the Allergy Shot Program. In this role, you will be responsible for the care of over 170 Immunotherapy children across 4 of our locations. You will be tracking and recording prescriptions, consents, and follow-up appointments. Incumbent must have experience performing allergy serum compounding and maintaining USP 797 standards. You will be monitoring serum inventory, expiration dates and medication that is on backorder. This position is patient interfacing and you will be administering shots to the patients, as well as managing patient reactions from injections. As the Coordinator you will be the liaison for patients, families, and clinical staff regarding immunotherapy. This position is M - F, 8 AM - 4:30 PM; NO holidays; NO weekends; and NO call!!!

This position coordinates the patient care services, workflow, and activities provided by nursing and support staff of assigned program. This position provides guidance, support, and direction to staff to ensure consistent provision of developmentally appropriate quality patient care in accordance with all applicable federal, regulatory, and professional standards and requirements.
