**CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer – Golang opening for our client in Phoenix, AZ.**
**Location:** Phoenix, AZ (On-site Tuesday–Thursday)
**Duration:** 7 months
**Duties:**
+ Develop and maintain applications using Java and web technologies with a focus on high performance and scalability.
+ Leverage strong coding skills to build and enhance APIs, backend services, and integration components.
+ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Platform, QE/Testing, Product, Operations, and Solutions.
+ Participate in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) efforts, ensuring frequent, reliable releases.
+ Troubleshoot and optimize code for performance, scalability, and reliability in cloud environments.
+ Contribute to design discussions, code reviews, and provide technical guidance as needed.
**Skills:**
+ Strong coding experience in **Golang (preferred)** and **Java** – minimum 5+ years.
+ Deep understanding of frameworks, algorithms, multithreading, reflection, and API security.
+ Hands-on experience with **Couchbase** , **Postgres** , **Elasticsearch** , and **Redis cache** .
+ Familiarity with **Cloud platforms** and container orchestration tools like **Kubernetes** .
+ Proficiency with **CI/CD pipelines** , **GitHub Actions** , and **Docker** .
+ Agile mindset with the ability to deliver code and artifacts quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced release cycle.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
**Experience:**
+ Minimum of 5 years of hands-on application development experience in Java and related technologies.
+ Prior experience in agile environments with frequent release cycles is highly desirable.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
